From the moment you find out that you’re pregnant, your mind is on your baby. You’re making day-to-day choices to protect and nourish your baby, preparing everything your baby will need, and dreaming of who your new child will be. It’s easy to forget about you in the midst of all this. That’s what maternity portraits are all about.
Your pregnancy is an incredibly special and one-of-a-kind time in your life, whether you’re welcoming your first baby or adding one more to your family. Maternity portraits highlight and memorialize the journey and the awe-striking beauty of this unique experience in womanhood.
Throughout your session, I want you to just get comfortable, relax, and have a great time. I have the expertise to pose you in ways that flatter you and highlight that gorgeous baby bump of yours, so you don’t have to worry about trying to find the perfect positioning and angles. Just enjoy this time to celebrate you and your growing family while I do the work.
My maternity portrait sessions are fully customized to you. Each session lasts around 45 minutes and takes place at the location of your choice within 50 miles of my Lafayette, IN photo studio. If you don’t already have a location picked out, don’t worry. I have plenty of recommendations I can make based on the time of year and the aesthetic you want for your portraits.
Maternity portraits are designed to highlight you, Mom-to-be, but we can also include your spouse or partner if you prefer. Many of my clients like to have primarily solo portraits with a few shots that include their partner. It’s all a matter of what you prefer for your maternity photos.
